ITEM #42 Majolica Antique Victorian Miniature Figural Owl Porcelain

HEIGHT: 6 1/4" to top of the collar. The total height to the top of the shade is 11 7/8".

For your consideration is small 6 1/4" (to the top of the collar) undamaged very high quality perfect Rörstrand owl figural miniature oil lamp. Again this figural handsome miniature oil lamp, burner & chimney are being offered in mint undamaged & in excellent working order.  Because of it's extra fine quality value, and rarity, and  I added an expensive rare satin French fiery shade which exactly matches his/her eyes & other parts.. Based on that it is quite possible to acquire a less expensive shade for the owl but then...The added shade for me adds to the elegant artistic statement that the lamp offers, the color in reality is a very vibrant yellowish green which is evident in most of the pictures. The top of the shade picture shows a dark color which is only in the picture. The total height to the top of the shade is 11 7/8". Due to the increase in costs (especially gas) shipping from Europe has tripled over the last 4 years. This example is as perfect as it could possibly be! This lamp can also be purchased at a lessor price delivered with a different shade also in stock. The book states that the lamp is Majolica & my extensive research I discovered the manufacturer was Rörstrand.  I am not at all surprised that the price of pre-1900 Rorstrand pottery  has skyrocketed due to it's quality & rarity. I have an exact duplicate of this base also available as I bought the two together.
